MCSO Guadalupe Town Hall Meeting
🗓️
🖥
This upcoming Thursday, August 27th, Maricopa County Sheriff Jerry Sheridan will be returning to the Town of Guadalupe, for the first time in a year and 6 months. So far, he has FAILED to meet the public's demands for more accountability in the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office, along with complying with the Melendres order, as he filed a petition to end all federal monitoring a while back. Guadalupe has suffered an immense amount of pain thanks to Sheridan and his ex-boss, former Sheriff Joe Arpaio. The raids that Arpaio inflicted upon Guadalupe, targeting Indigenous citizens in their own hometown is one of the reasons why we still don't trust the MCSO, and neither does the Pascua Yaqui tribe in Guadalupe. In hindsight, it is incredibly important to attend this town hall and show solidarity with not only the Latino community, but also the indigenous community! Don't miss it!
