  were approx. 135 287(g) agreements when Biden left office. There are now 
 1000+ active agreements in the US and growing under the Trump administrati
 on.\n\n- Mesa PD and ICE have had a 287(g) agreement since 2009\n- Mesa PD
  has the jail enforcement model of the agreement\n- Reports prove that the
 se agreements lead to racial profiling and civil rights abuses\n\n**If you
 'd like to speak\, arrive early (around 4:30pm) and fill out the comment f
 orm via the QR code or the kiosk. You'll need to be one of the first three
  speakers to submit their request to speak during public comment. The requ
